Re: Manufacturing Mixer (9-29) (north new jersey)

Strangeness... follow me on this one...

It sounds like a great job opportunity, so I contacted them via email with a "not enough information" in the subject line....

They want what is basically a chemical operator grade B position.
But after they contacted me, they said they're a Property Management Company.
Why would a property management firm want a production/manufacturing operator (aka: a chemical operator)???

Since I have 2 years experience in property management and 17 years experience as a senior grade chemical operator...
I can tell you there is near zero reason a property management company would need a chemical operator of any grade, other than maybe to spray poison for bugs.
lol, but if they have that much of a bug problem they're blending those kind of quantities of materials, and then they mislead you on what their intent is, they have bigger problems than just killing some bugs.
Even if that is what they want, there is no reason to beat-around-the-bush abut it.

And they want me bonded???
I want them to take a lie detector test first, check on their legal records, and possibly take a drug test before I answer any of their questions!

I also had ethics training.
So I'm tired of companies telling me one thing and having me do another.
If you do that, you face firing... if they do that, it's just "good business practices".

Here's the ad, but I'd refrain from sending any of these "companies" your personal info on resume until *they* provide adequate verifiable information about what they do first, and/or where they are located and not just a general; "north new jersey" (are they embarrassed about who/what/where they are ???). That in itself usually prompts a red-flag in my mind.
Many of these people are headhunters just "fishing" for information they could theoretically be able to use against you, and not for your better interests.

They probably got 1,000 queries about this job, and it's still posted and unfilled???
There are so many red-flags to these kinds of "employment opportunities" it's ridiculous.

Remember; you do not owe these people ANYTHING until they prove they are legitimate trustworthy honest ethical entities!

Sorry, not for me.
