We are seeking a hard working individual to develop Zipcar for Business revenue by managing a lead generation and sales effort in a local market primarily by phone and internet communication. You will be expected to prospect and develop new customer leads, introduce the Zipcar for Business service, and close business on a monthly basis. In doing so, you will call into prospective customers, build relationships with Management and lines of business groups and qualify any business pain associated with the costs of employee transportation. Once relevant plan is identified, the sales representative will work with the prospect to fully qualify the customer needs and map the Zipcar service, resulting in a closed transaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Manage and deliver monthly lead volume for a major metro market to meet or exceed revenue plan focusing on small to medium sized businesses
* Works with local market team members including Account Executives based in field
* Accountable for clearly articulating Zipcar’s business value to clients and prospects
* Manage sales activities using Salesforce.com
The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
* Four year college degree in related field required, advanced degree, a plus.
* Must have at least one year of telemarketing, inside telephone sales, or B2B sales in a metric driven environment with verifiable results.
* Proven track record in solution selling to small –medium sized businesses over the phone.
* Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue
* Ability to identify, prioritize and focus on critical tasks. Work independently as a self starter, motivated member of local business team
* Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of using databases for managing contacts and overall CRM activities and assessing performance of the business.
* Persuasive, confident oral communicator. Have excellent communication skills and a contagious positive attitude.
* Has the ability to write effective, clear communication.
* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
